Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

A film to be released in 2016 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Peregrine%27s_Home_for_Peculiar_Children_(film)
I am a fan of the beautiful Eva Green, and even a bigger fan of Eva Green in a leather coat.  Ha!

Riding a bicycle in a long leather coat

A decade or two ago it apparently was not unusual to see European women, especially attractive Dutch ladies, riding a bike to work well dressed and buttoned up in a long leather coat.  I never witnessed such a marvelous sight here in the USA and I think this is yet another European custom that I really admire.

"Look all over the net..you will not find a long leather coat. I am happy I did not miss out on this coat. If you can grab one before it is gone forever."

Truly, Metrostyle is the last of the regular sale-price mail order catalogs to offer a long, black leather coat.  It is not going to be the same supple quality as Overland Sheepskin, Higgs, or Milpau, but I am glad they still offer it at https://www.metrostyle.com/product/long-genuine-leather-coat.do?sortby=ourPicksAscend&refType=&from=fn&ecList=7&ecCategory=100886#customerReviews  Read the comments.  Lots of happy women who are thrilled to be wearing a leather coat.  "It is to be purchased without a second thought.  A winner!!!  This is a coat that makes you feel confident while wearing it and walking into a place.  Both women and men compliment this coat."

The ultimate fashion statement for a woman's wardrobe as it was offered by Milpau Cuirs

Encore for this fantastic full-length leather coat, the Claudy Noir Giorgio offered by Milpau Cuirs and Peaux a few years ago.  Milpau still offers long leather coats http://www.milpau.com/manteau-cuir-femme/4911-giorgio-lisa-noir.html  I would buy one from them for my wife, except that she would throttle me for getting her yet another leather coat!

A Fresh Coat

A Fresh Coat
By Cuirbouilli
Susan tingled with excitement as she stood outside of the leather shop.  She wanted a leather coat for over ten years and today she was finally going to buy herself one!

In itself there was nothing special about that day compared to any other day.  It was a cold, dreary Saturday afternoon in January 2005.  She had walked past the leather store in the mall a thousand times.  She occasionally peeked inside and dreamed of walking out in a long, sleek leather coat.

What stopped her for so many years?  At that moment, she wasn’t quite sure.  The past excuses were too numerous to count.  It didn’t matter now because today she was going to wrap herself in a new leather coat no matter what.

She took a deep breath and stepped into the store.  Her excitement grew as she walked past racks filled with leather jackets.  The acrid smell of leather perfumed the air.  There was something so warm and sensual about the odor of leather coats.  She really loved the aroma of them.

All of the jackets so far were short.  She didn’t want a thigh-length jacket like everyone else was wearing.  She wanted a full-length leather coat.  It would be much warmer for one thing.  Plus she really wanted to indulge herself in something luxurious and sophisticated.  She had certainly waited long enough to do so.  She deserved a fabulous long leather coat.

Welcome home honey

Some men like to be greeted with supper on the table when they get home.  Personally, I prefer my wife to look like this when I get home.  She frequently asks, "What do you want to have for dinner, honey?"  "Just you!" I answer.

A former office manager where I used to work wore a full-length black leather coat most of the winter

I have often written about the wonderful, intoxicating creaking sound that a leather coat makes as the woman inside of it moves. A leather coat also makes a great sound as a lady puts it on. There is a deep whooshing sound as she brings it around her shoulders. As the woman pushes her arms up through the sleeves the leather produces a fluid rustle, accompanied by the quiet hiss of her arms slipping across the satin lining. The coat creaks as she tugs it across her body to button it. There is a tight squeak as she ties the belt snug around her waist.

A former office manager where I used to work wore a full-length black leather coat most of the winter of 2001, much to my delight, and she looked magnificent in it. I discovered this one day when I bumped into her as she came around the corner to leave for a meeting. She wasn't looking because she was busy buttoning up her long leather coat. She was a very petite, attractive blonde woman in her mid-thirties. She had a great body and she was not at all shy about flaunting it. Some of my coworkers

This pretty lady was dressed well for the cold

I went to see a movie with a friend, probably sometime in the winter of 2003. As we were entering the cinema I happened to glance to one side. A married couple was entering the doors across from us. A tall man in a brown leather bomber jacket opened the door for his wife. His wife was a very attractive woman in her thirties, wearing dark sunglasses. She had short, jet black hair. It was very cold and windy outside that day. This pretty lady was dressed well for the cold. Her hands were pushed deep inside the pockets of a splendid black leather coat. The hem of her leather coat brushed against her calves. Her leather coat was sealed snugly about her by five buttons and a belt tied around her slender waist. The smooth-grain coat shined like liquid in the bright sunlight. The unbuttoned collar of a white Oxford shirt encircled her throat. The notched collar of her leather coat was turned up around her neck. I find that very attractive for some reason. We entered the cinema. The lady's coat fit her close around the breasts and hips. With each step she took, her coat indented beneath her

She must have caught a chill in the cold air outside

From 2001: Earlier this week I went to the city mall for my lunch break. I got in line to be seated at a nice restaurant. In front of me stood three women that apparently worked at one of the downtown offices. All three of them were dressed nice. The most attractive woman of the group was a young lady with shoulder length blond hair, enclosed in a long, black leather coat. She was tall but her smooth leather coat still fell just above her ankles.  Although we were inside, she still had all three coat buttons fastened tightly, which tugged the soft leather into glossy ripples over her curvaceous body.

She was facing me as she chatted with her friends so I got to take in the site of her. Her purse hung from her wrist. Her leather coat had button tabs on each cuff. When she adjusted the purse strap on her arm it caught under the button, pulling that side of the soft leather sleeve halfway up her forearm and showing the cuff of her silk blouse. Her leather coat was made of that extremely soft kind of leather that doesn't always seem to make much noise, even when it rubs against itself. I listened closely. Her leather coat creaked very quietly as she hugged her arms around herself. The squeaking sound was so subtle, though, that I wondered if I didn't just imagine it among the background noise in my eagerness to hear that wonderful noise.

The whole time we waited the lady never unbuttoned

My buddy thought I was bored with the conversation because I was so distracted by her

Drinking Killian’s Red with a friend on St. Patrick's Day in 2001, I looked across the bar. There sat a gorgeous girl, a little younger than me. She wore a gleaming black leather coat that went down to her calves. The bar was crowded and warm, but she kept her leather coat buttoned up tight around her slender frame. My buddy thought I was bored with the conversation because I was so distracted by her. Then I looked away for one instant and she was gone!

It creaked sharply with her every movement

As I was gift shopping during the holidays sometime before 2003 I was in the men's outerwear section of a department store one afternoon. I searched the racks, hoping to find something for one of my family members. A voice at the cashier's counter caught my attention. There was a tall woman in her fifties asking the clerk for assistance. She looked wealthy and had a demanding tone in her voice. She was plump with a thick waist, large breasts, and wide hips. She carried her weight well, though. She was buttoned in a long black leather coat. Her leather coat fit on her rather tightly because of her full-figure. Even the coat sleeves fit close to her round arms, with little room for creases. The leather coat strained over her body. It creaked sharply with her every movement, as if it were ready to burst open at the seams. Her top coat button was open, and the collar gapped open wide around her large bust. Clutching the strap of her purse she asked the clerk if they sold leather jackets for men. Apparently she liked leather coats and wanted to buy one for her husband.

She was the most beautiful image I saw that night, and I hadn't even entered the museum yet

Speaking of the fine arts, I stopped by the art museum one evening in 2002.  I had not been there in years. It was extremely cold out. As I walked to the front door the very first person I saw was a beautiful lady in a black leather coat!  Slender and graceful, she was a very lovely woman in her forties. Her short blond hair was hidden under a stylish black hat with a narrow brim. Her elegant body was enclosed in an ankle-length leather coat! She was buttoned in shiny black leather from her neck to her feet. The notched collar was partly turned up around her neck. Black leather gloves and polished patent leather boots completed her marvelous outfit.

She was the most beautiful image I saw that night, and I hadn't even entered the museum yet! She opened one of the doors with her leather gloved hand, and let it fall shut behind her as I quickened my pace to catch up.

Inside the museum lobby she tugged her gloves off of her hands and pushed them into her coat pockets. Her leather coat had no belt and rippled in shiny creases as

To get past her was a tight squeeze

I took a date to the ballet during the Christmas season 2002. The girl I took was very cute, but vegetarian, so she did not wear leather or fur.  Instead she wore an embroidered coat of gold satin over a black dress. The theater is always packed full of well-dressed, trendy women. Leather coats were considered very fashionable among people who patronize the fine arts at the time and that night was no exception. There were dozens of ladies in leather coats, more than I can recall. One stood out in particular, though.

The lobby was very crowded. As we made our way through the crowd I had to squeeze past a remarkable young lady. She was tall, with long straight blond hair, and a pretty face. Her body was voluptuous, and sheathed in a long black leather coat. Four buttons fastened the sleek leather coat tightly around her. Indeed, her coat looked as if it was molded around her curvaceous frame, with hardly a crease in it's glossy

I remember how content she looked sitting there in her leather coat

A bookstore was another great place to study in the late nineties; back before Amazon made it obsolete to walk inside of a mortar and brick building to buy books. I was in a Barnes and Noble one evening and got up to look for a magazine. There were benches set up in front of the magazine racks. As I was looking around, this college girl walked up next to me. She was average height and very curvy. She shined in a

She kept her buttoned coat on the whole time she was there reading

During the late nineties I would sometimes go to a coffee shop to study. A coffee shop on a big college campus is just crawling with great-looking girls. One in particular stands out in my memory, though.

I was sitting at a table reading, when this pretty girl in her twenties came in. She was likely a graduate student. She was slender with short auburn hair and wore a black leather coat that fell just above her knees. Her coat was only partially buttoned, and her crisp white shirt spilled out around the notched coat collar. A leather backpack pulled her coat into shiny folds. Taking off her backpack produced a cacophony of squeaking as it rubbed against her coat. Lucky for me,

When it was cold out she wore a splendid long leather coat

1996-2000:  When I was doing my postgraduate training I sometimes had the good fortune to arrive at school the same time as one of the ladies who worked in the offices upstairs.  She was a tall, slender, young woman, and very attractive with golden blond hair to the middle of her back.  When it was cold out she wore a splendid long leather coat.  She would come out of the parking garage with her leather coat buttoned up.  As she walked in front of me and my friends I would watch her.  Her straight golden hair glowed in contrast to the black leather of her coat.  Gleaming ripples of leather would shift from shoulder to shoulder across her back with the swing of her arms as she walked.  Her slender legs would flash in and out of the walking vent that split the back of her coat.  She was a sight well worth waking up for.

Leather lady sightings

1992-1996:  As a freshman in college I used to sit behind a girl in one of my classes that always wore a long leather coat, much to my delight.  She was probably three years older than me, and good-looking with shoulder-length blonde hair.  Each morning she would slip out of that great leather coat, and hang it in shining folds on the chair next to her.  She kept to herself, and I never could get her to talk much.  But, it was fun to watch her come and go in her leather coat.

There was also a girl in one of my college freshman labs that always wore a glossy, black, fingertip-length leather coat.  She was short, curvy, and had black hair.  She would come to class with a backpack on, which pulled her leather coat into gleaming folds around her shoulders.  Then autumn quarter ended and I never saw her again.

One cold, blustery winter day I saw a most lovely girl walking toward the teacher’s college.  Teacher’s college seemed to have a preponderance of attractive women who

Walk this way ladies!

I would have to be blind not to notice her.
