The black leather trench still evokes The Matrix
The Frame trench is the only long black leather coat by a big label that I have really seen advertised this fall/winter season. This is a good sign for leather fashion.
However, even after a decade, fashion critics still equate the long leather coat with The Matrix. Thanks to Adrian Thomas for bringing her to my attention. It is great to see a celebrity fashionista wearing this beloved favorite coat, but alas she is quite extraordinary in doing so; unlike twenty years ago when you couldn't swing a Prada bag in a big city without hitting a woman in a leather coat. Let's hope Bella's style sense catches on in mainstream fashion.
