Blair on the go
I have posted some more segments of Perfect:
There was a gas fireplace burning next to the table at his left. A stunning woman occupied that table. She had long blonde hair that spilled over her shoulders and her face was beautiful. He would guess she was about twenty-nine or thirty. She was eating a salad while reading a magazine.
There was no ring on her left hand.
Her posture and her movements indicated high class. And the way she dressed was fantastic! She wore a sharp-looking white blouse with a black leather skirt and tall, shiny leather boots! A long, black leather coat was draped over her shoulders like a cape. The amazingly long coat spilled over the seat of her chair. The liquid satin lining was regal purple and flowed to the floor where the coat tail bunched in soft folds.
The woman looked up in his direction as she turned a glossy page of the magazine. She licked salad dressing from her full lips.
He ducked his head and ate some more of his sandwich. He tried not to look at her. It was tough not to. He took another bite. The stir of excitement in his belly decreased his appetite some. The urge to stare at her was driving him crazy!
He glanced in her direction again.
Her head was turned the other way as she reached into her purse. Her slick leather coat started to slide from her shoulder. She straightened again and caught the left side of the coat with her slender right hand before it fell. She pulled it closer about herself. Her fingers gathered the smooth-grained leather into shiny ripples. It had to be lambskin, it looked so supple. The top button in the corner of the notched collar gleamed as it dangled on its heavy thread.
