I've been watching the same coat from West Coast Leather... Although I believe they claimed to be the "spiritual successor" of the defunct North Beach Leather, they just don't possess that glamour that NBL had... Still, good to see them still making these long coats. I even contacted them once, they said they could customize a coat for my goddess for $2k, and said they could use the "squeaky" type of lambskin to make it. At the end, I still bought the Magda Butrym coat for her... Maybe I should customize a coat for my lady one day!

ReplyDeleteWell, the Magda Butrym coat was great, but never the "squeaky" type. I don't think newer leather coats from mainstream brands make squeaky coats anymore. I guess they regard the "squeak" as no-good.
