This is a beautiful, classic lambskin leather coat. Too bad they don't know how to just model these garments in a "real life" context anymore. It's either over-the-top stylized or the model is as flat and wooden as a totem pole.
A homage to all the ladies from the 1970s to the first decade of the new millennium who were sophisticated enough to button up a long leather coat over an elegant outfit and strut their stuff. Sleek leather coats disappeared from mainstream fashion for a while, but their popularity may be on the rise once more. Actually, I also bought a coat from Manokhi for my lady... The Romanian fashion is just not up to quality... We got the double breasted, aka faux "Magda Butrym" trench. It cost $2k but the leather felt like oiled paper... The quality is just not up to par for a $2k coat. Their photos are overly photoshopped.
