A homage to all the ladies from the 1970s to the first decade of the new millennium who were sophisticated enough to button up a long leather coat over an elegant outfit and strut their stuff. Sleek leather coats disappeared from mainstream fashion for a while, but their popularity may be on the rise once more. ReplyDeleteI have found some interesting photoshoot with leather. Actress Ashley Benson seemed to enjoy wearing a $7k Saint Laurent leather trench with shearling collar to the rain! Once in 2020 and once in 2021. Hope that coat protected her well.

Another set of pictures came from Dior's 2019 cruise. There were two leather skirt suit sets. The show was raining so those skirt suits drenched beautifully. It seems the leathered models fared better and much stronger in the elements.
